MINISTRIES

The following ministries are supported and endorsed by Revive. This means that a local church leader and their church takes responsibility for being the 'lead church' and it sits within their governance. However the ministry serves a wider remit to the Rugby area with involvement and engagement by church members throughout the churches across the town. If a ministry is a charity in its own right it’s governing body will include a minister from a Revive church. All Revive ministries are affirmed by the steering group who are a representation of various Rugby churches.

COMPASSIONATE COMMUNITIES

Hope4.jpg

HOPE4

Hope4 believes that everyone should have a place to call home: somewhere safe, secure and sustainable. At the Hope Centre we provide practical support for homeless people: hot food, showers, laundry, clothing and basic health care, plus support with longer term issues such as finding accommodation, UC claims, jobs, immigration status application and IT access. We have also set up and supported the churches running the Winter Night Shelter. Click below to find out more. Volunteering opportunities can be found here.

Make Lunch.jpg

MAKE LUNCH

Many families who normally receive free school meals during term time really struggle to feed their children during the holidays. Make Lunch is a ministry run by volunteers from churches across Rugby, and from the local community, that helps address 'holiday hunger' in Rugby with a lunch club where the whole family can enjoy healthy meals and fun activities.

CAP.jpg

RUGBY CAP

Since its launch in 2010, the Rugby Christians Against Poverty centre has been helping local people become debt free. Our centre is a part of CAP nationally. Many churches in the Revive network have invested in the centre through praying, giving financially and sending people to serve on our enthusiastic team. Compassionate Communities.jpg

COMPASSIONATE RUGBY

To overcome the impact of the pandemic, all of us need to build relationships, heal our minds and bodies and intentionally restore our communities. We need a sense of our own value and contribution too - because every one of us matters.

Compassionate Rugby acts through the power of conversation and connection. We do this with befriends - our 'Compassionate Neighbours', listening services in GP surgeries, support groups and Story Circles - guided conversation meetings. Supporters are always welcome!
