Unite (18-30+) a big success

On Friday 3rd March, Rugby YFC opened the doors to Rugby Lions Club to just over 60 people for our first Unite. Whilst we were setting up and getting the venue ready there was a real sense of expectation, excitement and nervousness within the team for what lay ahead. This was something that we had been dreaming of, planning for, and praying about for months and to finally have it in front of us was really exciting.

Jonny Shepherd (from New Life Church) led us in worship with a band made up of people from two other churches, and we heard two short talks from Ruth Burgess and Iain Bruce who shared about who Jesus is to each of them and how other people view Him. To see people from across the different churches represented engaging in conversation was a real encouragement. Unite is an opportunity for 18-30+ to explore God in the 21st century and to build a sense of community. The next Unite is Friday 5th May at 7:30pm, see you there!
