Street Pastor Commissioning 10 Sep

Rugby Street Pastors will be commissioning its latest 6 recruits from amongst Rugby churches on Sunday September 10th from 3–4 pm in Caldecott Park (or Rugby Baptist Church if wet weather). After being commissioned, they will then join an existing Street Pastors team and commence patrolling Rugby Town Centre on one Friday or One Saturday night. The Mayor, members of Rugby Borough Council, Police and church representatives will be in attendance along with friends and family of the new recruits and existing Street Pastors to celebrate their success. So it would be great to have your support also to encourage our new recruits. This is also a great witness to the Rugby Public at large who may not know about REVIVE and Street Pastors and our work in the Rugby night time economy. You are also welcome to join the recruits and VIP’s afterwards for tea/coffee/Cakes etc at the John Lees Hall Regent Place. However, in order to gauge numbers for catering, please let Pete Hickey Rugby Street Pastors Coordinator know you would like to attend by email no later than Thursday September 7th.
